What is WanderTrails?
WanderTrails is a free, self-guided audio walking app for Tallinn, Tartu, Pärnu, and Narva, Estonia. It turns a city walk into a story — combining curated routes, hidden discoveries you unlock as you approach real places, Time Layers that use your camera to reveal how a location looked in the past, and City Code, a quiz you can play from anywhere.

Yes — WanderTrails is currently free to download and explore. No account is required to start. Just download the app and enjoy the experience.
Time Layers are special visual moments at real locations. Walk to a viewpoint, open the camera, align the on-screen guide, and reveal how the place looked in the past — then listen to the story behind it.
City Code is a quick quiz about a city that you can play from anywhere — no walk needed. Each session is a few questions, and every answer reveals a short real story about the place. Read a city through and you earn its medal in your Explorer Passport.
Tallinn, Tartu, Pärnu, and Narva — with audio walking routes, Time Layers, and City Code in each. More Estonian cities are on the way.
Yes — WanderTrails requires an internet connection and GPS to work properly during the experience. This helps the app load route content, images, and other location-based elements while you explore.
